Email and WebMail – parameters and settings

Considering RFC documents recommendations (international documents that determine ways and rules of server settings) certain limitations has been established for incoming and outgoing messages:

1. Number of addresses in TO, Cc and Bcc fields of message can’t exceed 100

2. Sent and received message along with the attachment can’t be larger than 10 Mb

3. Number of documents in attachment can’t exceed 100

4. Number of documents in compressed attachment can’t exceed 100

5. Number of messages which are stored on server can’t be larger than 1000. Every next message won’t be received. Check your WebMail directories on server.

Mail server automatically checks every e-mail message, scans every e-mail message, evaluates does it satisfies specified conditions and forwards it. Messages and commercials which doesn’t satisfy specified conditions, comprehend insulting or sexual phrase or financial frauds (for example Nigerian fraud) will be detained and marked as “Spam” by adding Spam attribute in message’s subject.
To ensure authenticity of data which are transferred through our mail server, we’ve inducted obligation for our clients to authorize to server before sending a message. That is accomplished by setting an e-mail client in a way listed below:

1. Outlook Express Setup

2. Microsoft Outlook Setup

3. Access and use of WebMail server

Outlook Express setup

1. Tools -> Accounts...

Click on your account and than on button Properties

2. Servers tab. For „incoming“ and „outgoing“ mail server enter mail.beonet.net or mail.<mydomain>. In field „Account name“ enter your complete e-mail address. Check „My server requires authentication“ and click „Settings“ button.

If you’re using some antivirus program which changes fields „Incoming“, „Outgoing“ and „Account name“ leave the change that antivirus made, but in that case perform setup which are in third step marked with star.

3. Check „Use same settings as my incoming mail server“

* In case antivirus has changed settings for „Incoming“ and „Outgoing“ servers, you must check „Log on using“, in „Account name“ enter your complete e-mail address and in field „Password“ enter your password for mail server access.

Microsoft Oulook setup
