ADSL Technical requirements

For ADSL connection you need to have direct phone line (pair of wires) or ISDN line i.e. that your existing phone line isn’t realized through party line, PCM or FM device. You mustn’t be further than 5.5 to 6 km from nearest DSLAM (or telephone central).
In case you have a party line or your line is on PCM, FM device, it’s necessary to send a demand to Telekom Serbia A.D. and ask for transfer on “clean” line if there are technical conditions for that. |
